Description

Monteria is a Spanish way of hunting where any 1 area of 500 hectors is only allowed to be hunted for 1 day per year. Most of your culling is done in one day.

Up to 500 dogs are released into the area and are worked to one side of the estate and back making sure the majority of the animals are moved.

HUNTING SEASON
From November to May. The best is the rutting (from
November to January) and spring season (from March
to May).

GEOGRAPHIC RANGE
East Spanish mountains, (Puertos de Torosa-Beceite
National Park and the Maestrazgo), near the sea,
where the weather is very mild, although this does not
prevent it from forming a rough and rugged
landscape, where the hunter can enjoy the hunt in its
best.
The hunting area is at least 3 hours from Barcelona
airport, 4 hours from Madrid aiport and 2 hours from
Valencia airport.

RONDA IBEX

HUNTING SEASON
October to April. The best is the rutting (from November to
December) and spring (from March to May) season.
GEOGRAPHIC RANGE
South Spanish mountains. The Ronda Ibex is hunted in
Antequera, and Sierra de las Pedrizas, in Andalucia province.
The hunting area is at least hour from Malaga airport.
HABITAT
Rocky mountains between – 1.000-2.500 m.
The Hunting Method is always by stalking.

SOUTHEASTERN IBEX

HUNTING SEASON
October to May. The best is the rutting (from
November to December) and spring (from March
to May) season.
GEOGRAPHIC RANGE
South Spanish mountains. The Sierra Nevada
(SouthEastern) Ibex is hunted in the mountains of
Sierra Nevada National Park, in Sierra de Lujar,
Sierra de Huetor, Santillan and Sierra Arana, in
Andalucia province. The hunting area is at least 3
hours from Alicante airport and 2 hours from
Malaga airport.
HABITAT
Rocky mountains between 1.000-2.500 m.
